As an indirect fuel heater (IDF heater) is powered by diesel oil, the indirect fuel heater has a completely separate chamber that contains the heat source. This means the fresh air from outside which is taken into the indirect fuel heater has no direct contact with the heat source. Hence the air stays fresh and clean from outdoors, is heated up within the IDF, and then blown into the desired space for heating. There is no combustion or fumes within the air, so it is very safe and efficient for heating. This also means the hot air stays dry, which makes them great for both heating hire and humidity control hire applications.
